The manuscript is stored in the Sibelius Academy Library, Helsinki. Though the titles are in Swedish, the manuscript is believed to be of the Finnish origin, as it contains Kejsar Alexanders Polonesse probably referring to Alexander I of Russia. Swedish was the only official language in Finland until 1863. The manuscript could be dated not before 1816 as it includes Quadrille forfattad ... Stockholm an 1816 and not after 1825, as Alexander I died in 1825.

Paul Pomian-Pesarovius composed this recueil and dedicated it to Natalia Saltykova, who married Alexander Saltykov in 1801 and became a widow in 1837. First cahier in the series is dated circa 1835 on page 190 [Гришкун, 2008] (cahier 2 is believed to be the unique copy). Publisher name is quite tricky to decipher: it contains strange ligature (may be just a misengraving), so the booklet can be published either by Klener or Klever (the latter is listed in [Гришкун, 2008]).

Note:
There are no pages 6–9; pagination jumps straight from 4–5 to 10–11, while text remains continuous. Most of the book can be dated circa 1890. Crompton's “Guide to Modern Dancing” is advertised in the June 8, 1891 issue of the periodical “Dancing”. However, the typeface of the titles changes at page 84, and the end of this book is believed to be added material and the edition is of later time. It includes “King Edward’s Lancers” (pages 90–91), and there is no reason to have anything devoted to king Edward before his accession in 1901. A similar edition with different contents past page 84 can be found [Crompton, 1891?].
