Manuscript contains Tomlinson's copy of Weaver's translation of Feuillet's ‹Traité de la cadence› [Feuillet, 1706], Tomlinson's copy of “The Slow Minuet” composed by Thomas Caverley (undated), Tomlinson's copy of five entrées de ballet by Louis Pécour [Feuillet, Pécour, 1704], several dances by Tomlinson which were performed in Lincoln's Inn Theater between 1716 and 1721 (Sarabande pour deux hommes, Entrée pour un homme et une femme, Entrée à deux dancée par monsieur Balon et mademoiselle Subligny, Sarabande à deux, Entrée espagnolle, A Minevit for a Woman, Rondeau composed by Kellom Tomlinson, Canary composed by Kellom Tomlinson, Saraband composed by Kellom Tomlinson ), “The Article on Dancing Taken from the Encyclopaedia Britannica” (at least 3d edition, published 1797), which is considered to be added by Lowe's family members. Pages are placed in wrong order in the library provided copy, page 12 is followed by page 29, while missing pages are attached at the end of the facsimile

Engraving at frontispiece in LOC copy is dated 1754, but the book itself is dated 1735. All the engravings are placed at the end of the book while in second edition [Tomlinson, 1744], they are placed in the between the printed pages. According to introductory part, both ways are possible, since the book can bebought without printed part.
